Today, with my friend Mahsa, we admired elephant fetuses. They are adorable! Look at them!

And then we started thinking about it, and realized that elephants must have had umbilical chords, and therefore must have bellybuttons. Which is really obvious, but not often considered. And it’s just kind of beautiful. Also, can you imagine the lint that comes out of there?
Baby fetuses just aren’t as cute. Look at the elephants. There’s really no comparison.

This organization looks totally bitching – it takes micro-loans (like $25) from people, and hooks them up with entrepreneueuers in Developing Countries, helping those awkward Pre-Pubescent Countries to blossom into full Adult Capitalist Countries (with Democracy-straightened teeth, and clearer skin), so they can mess up their economic system and crash like we did. Maybe we’re having a mid-life crisis?
Really, though, it’s pretty cool, from what I have read so far. I would like to know about oversight of the entrepreneueueueuers. How do I know my money is going where they say it’s going? Do they give me pictures of what has been accomplished, or is someone checking on the entrepreneueuers? Who is paying that someone?
I haven’t looked into the website in detail, so I don’t know if they have information about this. It’s just the first thing that popped into my mind when I read about it this morning at Qwantz.com
