An interesting article on the Müller Formula, which is where a guy figured out a way to pick what three colour swatches most people will prefer.
If you can see lots of colours, then this should be pretty obvious to you - the “ugly” swatch is, well, ugly. It looks about as good as spandex on an 80-year-old. You can especially see it when they start comparing the “ugly” swatch with the middle swatch with the “nice” swatch. Duh! Those colours are vomitocious together.
Now it’s my opinion that people who can see more colours would not only see the difference, but they would also understand why the first colours looked poopy together. There is too much purple in the bottom blue, and it clashes with all of the green in the bottom orange. That’s just one example.
Anyway, I think it’s interesting to look at to see how sensitive you are to colours.
