According to my weather internet thing it is the same temperature in Cairo and in San Francisco: 61 degrees Fahrenheit.
The main difference, I guess, is that in San Francisco it is four in the afternoon and in Cairo it is 2 a.m.
It’s strange having to call a place where you’ve only lived for about a month and a half ‘home’. Technically I am a resident of Egypt, but I’ve only ever been there for about 7 weeks. I never know what to say when people ask me where I’m from. Is it the place I grew up? Where I went to high school? Where I go to college? Where I lived last year? Where I lived over the summer? Where my driver’s licence says? Where I speak the language? Where my family lives?
I usually name whatever country my family is currently living in. I wonder where they will move next!
